Pole Dance

You need a lot of strength in your legs, arms and upper body

Pole Dance - The New Trend Sport

Pole Dance is actually a term everyone knows – yet many associate it less with a dance or sport and more with a performance in a striptease or nightclub. This is because, initially, in the mid-20th century, Poledance was mainly danced in clubs of this kind. However, pole acrobatics have a much longer history and can be traced back hundreds of years, especially in Asia.

Today, Pole Dance has evolved into a sport that captivates women worldwide. It can now be learned in many dance schools in Germany. It is now a competitive sport as well as a demanding full-body workout, so it has little in common with its previous reputation.

Why You Should Definitely Give Pole Dance a Chance

Pole Dance demands a lot from the body: you need strength in your legs, arms, and the entire upper body to hold yourself on the pole, as well as a lot of body tension to make the movements look elegant.

But don't worry: at the beginning, it's entirely normal not to have built up enough muscles. You will learn everything you need in your Pole Dance class. So, Pole Dance is full-body strength training and can be a good alternative if you want to get fitter but don't enjoy monotonous workouts in a gym.

Physical fitness is not the only advantage that Pole Dance offers. When you learn the flowing, elegant, and often very feminine movements, it boosts your self-confidence, and your sense of your own body improves.

So, if you're up for something new and a dance that will help you feel comfortable and fit in your body, then Pole Dance is the right choice.

Have You Become Curious?

In most cities, you can now sign up for Pole Dance classes in several studios. Sometimes, however, you may have the desire to try a sport like this but are not confident enough. Doubts arise, like "Can I even do this?" "What if everyone else dances much better?" These concerns are entirely normal; everyone has them! To build the confidence to try, it's a good idea to find someone you can sign up with. Then you already know someone and don't have to go alone to the first class.
